My Story
Hello, My name is Janice, and I am a member at the Curves in West Lafayette IN. I love Curves. Curves is the only gym I have ever belonged to that I felt like I belonged. I love that I don't have to be a size 2 to work out here. All the women accept me for who I am. The staff there is so helpful as well. I have diabetes, and have lost both my legs to this painful disease. So, I am a double amputee, and both of my legs are prostetic. I also am scheduled to have surgery to remove my fingertips. At most gyms they would just tell me I could not work out, but at curves, the wonderful staff there helps me around the circuit, and they walk me to each of my machines. They also make sure I do my workout, just because I have health problems, doesn't mean that they let me slack off. They always make sure that I sweat when I am in there. All the women at the club are so kind as well, they all make me feel like I am a part of the curves family. Everywhere I go I tell everyone I know about Curves. Monday, Wednesday, and Friday are my dialysis days, and Tuesday, Thursday, and Saturday are my Curves days. I don't miss a day even if it is raining. I love Curves and hope that every woman in the world has a chance to experience such a great place!
