My Story
I am 73 years old and I just love Curves.
My friend Mary has been a member of Curves for years and I have been always very envious, because I wanted to join to; however I could not afford it. In March of 2008 I changed my insurance from Medicare with supplemental insurance to MedicareComplete from SecureHorizon. I was told that they would cover Curves.
Needlessly to say I was delighted. After a search of Curves in my city I found one ten miles from my home, that accepted my insurance. Within a few weeks I became a member. Since I have visited it five times a week very faithfully.
I did not have a lot of weight to loose, however having been diagnosed with rheumatoid arthritis and osteoperosis, I knew Curves could help me.
I enjoy the acquired strength in my hands, body and flexability; and leaving after the workout just feeling great and renewed each day.
It makes it also so wonderful to know and to look forward to each day to the friendships that were created there with other members, my Curves manager and her employees. A great bunch of wonderful people.
I hope to continue working out there for a long time to come.
And I can hardly wait to see the results of my next bone density test!
