My Story
Wow I guess you could say I never thought I would be writing something like this considering I was well over 100lbs overweight, which I found out was morbidly obese! For 5 yrs I have lived within 2 blocks of a Curves outlet and everytime I drove by I would say I was going to join ha ha, and then in Sept/08 my daughter told me she was not going to help me when it came time for someone to tie my shoes or help me out of a car. Well I looked at her stunned and then realized I needed to do something. I have been over weight for years but never this heavy,I now had high blood pressure and for years my tryglycerides were off the chart so had to be on cholesteral meds, plus I had acid reflux needed meds for that along with my water pill for the blood pressure, and I am only 49yrs old. My doctor also wanted me to try a new pill for overweight ppl who could not loose weight.
Needless to say I finally did walk thru those doors in October/08 and have lost 58lbs and I don't no how many inches, I feel curves that I haven't felt since 1980. I started the weight mgnt in Jan/09 and have learned how to eat properly and healthy which I have never done because I have never felt this motivated to loose weight. Well I have 42 more lbs till I am at my goal weight loss wish me luck. I would also like to thank the staff and members of my curves in Fleetwood they have been so encouraging for me. Oh yeah I forgot to tell no more meds for me!!!!!!!
