My Story
It has been a struggle for me to lose weight and I am still a work in progress.

I had lost 31 pounds dieting before I first joined curves back on April 29, 2003 in the state of Washington. When I joined Curves I had no upper body strength and after working out three times a week, I started getting more muscle tone and ended up losing another 26 pounds and 23.75 inches, then I hit a plateau in my dieting and stopped losing and got discouraged and stopped dieting and by the time I moved to Nevada and joined this Curves on November 7, 2007, I had gained 39 pounds back so I decided that dieting didn't work for me and decided I needed to change my eating habits and portion control and continue my workouts with Curves.

I am losing slowly but surely and so far it has been working for me and I am heading the right direction......
down instead of up and as of my 1 year weigh and measure date on November 3, 2008, I have lost 33 pounds and 17.25 inches. Thanks to Curves it has helped me to get back on target and I am firming and toning as I lose the weight and building upper body strength and muscles thanks to Curves workouts. Even my Son has commented on the muscles he has noticed on my arms when he sees me lifting and carrying things!!!

I am also proud to say that I have gone from a size 3X to size L or XL (learning more toward L now)!!!! YEAH!!!!!!
and hopefully continue to get smaller. I really have enjoyed my workouts at Curves and the most wonderful ladies that I enjoy talking and laughing with when I work out. The staff here is great and so much fun to be around and I have met some wonderful friends here at Curves that I hang out with from time to time so I am getting settle in here in Nevada. So ladies of Curves keep on smiling and working out on a regular basis and you will see results!!!!!
