My Story
In May 2007 I started going to Curves. I was much in need of getting fit and dropping some pounds. My Progress Report in late May 2009 reflects a loss of 11 plus pounds and several inches. Two weeks later, at my annual physical, my Dr. commended me on the data in my Curves Report which clearly illustrates the consistant effort and progress being made. That week I went for a Bone Mineral Density test. Seeing my results (compared to my previous BMD two years ago), the Technition asked me what I am doing differently. The only noteworthy change I've made since my last BMD is attending Curves. He advised me to "keep doing Curves" as the progress I've made has put me into the next level so I need only repeat the BMD every three years, now.

At 59 years of age I can say I have not felt better, both physically and mentally, since finishing High School in 1968. I was encouraged by Curves Staff to do the stretches and have followed their directive faithfully. In time, I found myself generally feeling stronger and capable of better stretches. Doing housework, caring for our pre-school age granddaughter, raking leaves in Spring, gardening, out walking our dog and living life have all improved for me, thanks to Curves!

Curves is the BEST thing I have ever done for MYSELF.

Sincerely,

Nora Demeester

"As much as dropping a few pounds is always nice, the increased energy and positive attitude far out weigh (no pun intended!) the improving figure! How much improved the incentive also must be to continue your efforts when medical tests confirm the positive results (with far-reaching health benefits)! Keep up the great work and keep sharing your story with newcomers that you meet at Curves!!"
