My Story
I was laid off on 2/28/2008 and did absolutely nothing after I got laid off. I put on way too much and was out growing out of ALL of my clothes. I was not comfortable with the weight gain and knew my exercise had diminished to nothing after I got laid off. Finally a year later (4/20/2009) I decided that enough was enough!! My first weigh in with Curves was 264 pounds. Two months later I am down about 12 pounds and my husband is so proud of my accomplishments and repeatedly tells me how great I look. I know it's only been a couple months, but with this much loss I know that every month when I get measured I will get reconfirmed of my hard work at Curves. It's so enjoyable getting back into the jeans that I out grew. It's also so great going to the doctor and seeing the fantastic results of my blood checks. All blood work is noticeably changed from what the readings were 20 January 2009 (Cholesterol 228, Triglyceride 217, HDL 43, and LDL 142). Lots of positive things at my check up on 29 May 2009 (UPDATED Cholesterol 187, Triglyceride 153, HDL 44, and LDL 113) YIPPIE!! With just 2 months into my new me, the change is so good!! I can't wait to get measured tomorrow! More changes for sure (getting smaller)!!
