My Story
During my fourth year as a Curves member, I learned many things about my body. I learned that I could increase 7 inches in a month, while losing a pound. I learned that I could gain 3 1/2 inches and not lose a pound. I learned that I could gain 3 1/2 inches while losing two pounds of body fat. I learned that I could lose 5 1/2 inches and not lose a pound. I learned that I could lose 2 inches and gain a pound. I saw the importance of monthly assessments, because my body changed so much in four weeks. I discovered that when I was unhappy at work, I had less appetite, so I weighed less, but I felt weaker, especially in my legs. When I was happy at work, my appetite was bigger, so I weighed more, but I felt stronger and healthier. For me, "Curves" doesn't have to mean that I am constantly losing weight. Curves keeps me moving, flexible, and getting stronger without dieting. It keeps me healthy and happy. I love Perry Curves, and it accepts me just as I am, month after month...whatever my changes may be!
